We Provide:

Medical Care & Pain Management

Our nurses and physicians work closely with each patient to manage pain and symptoms, ensuring comfort is always the priority. Care plans are personalized, and we adjust as needs change.

Hospice Aides

Our trained aides help with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal care needs — always with respect and care.

Emotional & Psychosocial Support

Our social workers are here to support not just patients, but families too — providing guidance, resources, and a steady hand when things feel overwhelming.

Spiritual Care

Our chaplains offer non-denominational spiritual support, respecting each person’s background, beliefs, and wishes. This is your space — we’re simply here to support it.

Volunteers & Companionship

Trained volunteers offer a quiet presence, conversation, or respite for caregivers. Sometimes, just being there is everything.

Therapies & Additional Support

Some patients may benefit from added services like physical therapy, occupational therapy, or dietary guidance — based on their individual care needs.

24/7 On-Call Support

Hospice needs don’t wait for office hours. Our team is available day and night, because peace of mind should never be on hold.

Medication, Equipment & Supplies

We provide medications, medical equipment (such as hospital beds or oxygen), and supplies related to the patient’s hospice care — all delivered directly to the home.

Bereavement Support

We continue to care for families even after a loved one passes. Our team offers grief support and resources to help navigate the healing process with compassion and understanding.

Every detail matters.

At Medvista, our services are not one-size-fits-all. We take the time to understand your family, your needs, and what brings you comfort. This is care designed around you — not just your diagnosis.

What is hospice care?

Hospice care is specialized support for individuals with a terminal illness, focused on comfort, dignity, and quality of life — not curing the illness. It includes medical, emotional, and spiritual care for both the patient and their loved ones.

When is the right time to consider hospice?

If a patient has been diagnosed with a life-limiting illness and is no longer pursuing curative treatment, or if their condition is declining, it may be time to explore hospice. You can contact us anytime to discuss whether it’s the right fit — no referral required.

Who can refer someone to hospice?

A hospice referral can be made by anyone — the patient, a family member, a caregiver, a physician, or a healthcare professional such as a hospital case manager or social worker. If you’re unsure whether it’s time, give us a call. We’re here to help guide you.

Does hospice care include medications and equipment?

Yes. Medications, medical supplies, and durable equipment related to the patient’s hospice diagnosis are fully covered under hospice benefits.

Is hospice covered by insurance?

Yes. Hospice is covered 100% by Medicare, Medi-Cal, and most private insurance plans. There is no cost to the patient or family for services related to hospice care.

Can I keep my current doctor?

Yes. Your personal physician can remain involved and work closely with our hospice team if you choose.

What services does Medvista provide?

Our team includes nurses, physicians, social workers, hospice aides, chaplains, volunteers, and therapists — all working together to provide personalized, holistic care and 24/7 support.

How quickly can care begin?

In many cases, hospice care can begin the same day. Call us and we’ll guide you through every step — no pressure, just help.

Can hospice care be stopped if needed?

Yes. Patients always have the right to stop hospice care at any time. If a patient’s condition improves or if they choose to pursue curative treatment again, they can revoke hospice and re-enroll later if needed. We’re here to support whatever decision feels right for the family.

We’re here for you

You don’t have to navigate this alone. Our team is ready to answer your questions and walk you through your options — with compassion and clarity.
